Ella and Caleb

ISn't my baby boy adorable!
Ella is a bottle thief, she will snitch Caleb bottle and drink it gone, but she always gives back the (now empty) bottle.
Speaking of snitching thats Alices fravorite thing to say anymore -
"I'm just gonna have to steal that from you"
or
"ah I was gonna steal that one!"
Don't know were she got it but its pretty funny. She a budding buisnessman (woman:) lately whenever we play Zooleretto, her stragety is not to build the best zoo but to collect other people animals and sell them back at a higher rate, this works because she might only have a few animals in her zoo but she has a huge fortune sitting in front of her and we are all broke, She does this with other games and I have even overheard her do similar thing while playing ponies with Katie and Alice, she can be ruthless! I am thinking about having her do some investing for us, lol.
Everett is all into burning and blowing up things, he can sit and watch war documentries for hours, he will come running in "he blew up, he blew up!"
I keep the matches hidden.
A couple of really quotes that made me smile this morning:)
Sometimes the mind, for reasons we don't necessarily understand, just decides to go to the store for a quart of milk.

It's no longer a question of staying healthy. It's a question of finding a sickness you like. -Jackie Mason

Early Morning Flight

Katie,The Dentist and Snow

Happy Birthday Katie! My little girl is seven. She had a great birthday I think, Everyone came down and she got lots of presents. I will post a picture later.

Felicity is not a normal child, We took her up to a dentist appointment on Friday but stopped in at Toy"R"US first, when we pulled in She said "Hey this isn't the Dentist! I wanted to go to the Dentist!" And then when we did get to the did get to the dentist every time the lady came out to get some one she would jump up "Is it my turn! Is it my turn!" It gets worse, after the dentist brought her out, her jaw all swollen because she had a tooth pulled, the dentist said Felicity would have to come back on Monday, she turned to Felicity and said "is that all right Felicity?" Felicity replied "ya Monday" I tell you thats just not right.

Its snowing-LOTS.

Its January!

Duh you might say, we know that!

Well try this on!

Today I went out side, slid down my steps, tried very hard not to fall and break my bum on the ice only to reach the end of the walk and sink to the top of my boots in MUD!

That is so not right, ice and mud do not belong together.

Last week it was close in on to impossible just getting out of my very, very long driveway because of all the snow, this week I can get out of my driveway but my little back road is another issue as its a complete mud pit.

Katie is almost Seven!

Monday (Yes I know its Tuesday)

After School yesterday Katie and Alice and I went to Walmart, Alice who was tired was in the cart and so when we went to look at clothes, I parked the cart to the side and as Katie and I went around the rack looking at the different items on sale and having a mild debate about the merits of red or pink, we heard from the other side of the rack
" Hey you guys I'm feeling kind of left out over here!"
Poor Alice:)

Last night the kids played hide and seek,Felicity was seeker and found Alice right off, Alice as she came out of her spot said
"aw I thought I was going to be the hardest to find"
Felicity replied
"well you weren't now go sit on the couch" (couch is base)

LOL

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We just got back from the A's house, we had dinner there and Sister A sent us home with a bowl full for lunch tomorrow, well on the way home Ella was sitting on my lap ( we live a couple hundred feet away and its too cold to walk) and I had the bowl on my lap well Joff pulled up to the house and I looked at Ella and there she is with her cheeks full of pototoes and soup dripping down her chin, lol, it was so funny.

Christmas (to backtrack just a little:) was fantastic, I couldn't sleep I was so excited to see how the kids liked there presents, but the kids and joff slept fine, go figure! Anyhow the kids LOVED there presents! At one point Alice started to open up an art kit and before she got it all the way open she came over and gave me a big hug saying

"Oh Mommy! Thankyou Mommy! Thankyou!"

My kids really, really like paper:)

New Years Eve was one of the better ones I've had, I have this special hatred of the night, but to keep myself from becoming gloomy I won't go into it now. We watched a Fred Astaire movie, it was pretty good and we watched Single Ward 2 which was very funny. We watched the Evil Hated Ball drop and then came home and went to bed!

Hmmm I have a storyboard I did of Alice lets see if I can post it.
Ah it worked good.
Some New Years quotes I dug up:
An optimist stays up until midnight to see the New Year in. A pessimist stays up to make sure the old year leaves.Bill Vaughan

I love, love this next one:)
Why won't they let a year die without bringing in a new one on the instant, can't they use birth control on time? I want an interregnum. The stupid years patter on with unrelenting feet, never stopping - rising to little monotonous peaks in our imaginations at festivals like New Year's and Easter and Christmas - But, goodness, why need they do it? ~John Dos Passos, 1917

The Great Day Of Confession

I Hate Math! But surprisingly I find when I HAVE to do it, I'm pretty good at it.

I'm getting ready to register for college, but I haven't done it yet, because I am a HUGE scaredy cat when it comes to doing something I've never done before.

I quit photography, alright I haven't quit, quit but I am so discouraged at my total lack of progress, so I am just going to take pictures of my kids and not try a mini session every time I get the camera out

I Hate taking snapshots, because of the "technical" flaws I find every time

I want to take more snapshots of my kids because they are only kids for a little while and I want the memories.

I have serious covet issues right now in regards to the D300, 70-200 VR 85mm 24-70mm 14-24mm (all Nikon glass of course:)

when it comes to camera equipment I am kind of a junkie, the list above is but a very very short version of my master list:)

I have been "talking" about cleaning up my inbox for two weeks, but I haven't

There are moments when I want to just delete everything because that would be Wayyy easier then going thru it

I just made some seriously chocolate chocolate chocolate cookies with the kids and had so much fun we ended up making chocolate milkshakes to eat them with and I don't believe I mentioned the fact that both the milkshake and the cookies were very very very chocolaty

I am super duper excited for Christmas, but I wish I had the whole week instead of a million appointments the day after, that's so not right!

I really do like most everyone, but there are a couple people I just cannot stand

My celebrity Idols are all photographers:)

I spend way to much time on the computer because my kids don't want me to play with them, they are perfectly happy just ordering snacks or coming over for a quick snuggle (Everett) before running off to play again

I read out loud to the kids and I enjoy it, I can't wait to read the Chronicles of Narnia with them

I hate reading out loud

I keep promising to post pictures to my picture blog and I never do

I need a shower, but my pipes are frozen.

I hate missing my daily shower.

I love my baby Caleb who I just found out is 14 pounds and he only 2 1/2 months!, the Dr. says he has the muscliest legs on a baby his age he has ever seen!

I love my baby Ella, when she got her shots today, she screamed so loud people in the NEXT building could hear her! Poor Baby.

I love my Everett who is so sensitive and sweet forever wanting to help out.

I love my Felicity who has a hippity hop and I think my have forgotten to walk as she hops everywere:)

I love my Alice who loves school and is growing up way faster then should be allowed.

I love my Katie who has become a little mommy always helping out with the babies and who always brings home books from the library on horses, never anything else

I love Maine even when its only 21 degrees outside:_

I love Joff who takes the babies to get there shots because I can't and who has just built me a coat closet and now I have to look at it, Yea!
